30+ Day Challenge

Day 10: Bible Verse.

I'm actually not the church going type. Years ago as a teenager I did attend youth group meetings and activities at the local community church.

I actually couldn't even begin to tell you what my religious upbringing was. I think it was either one of these three: Methodist, Presbyterian or Catholic. Frankly, I don't even know the difference in those three either. I guess that is bad of me. I have never been one to follow religion or politics. I certainly don't bring them up in social settings. They are 2 of the biggest conversation faux pas in my opinion. I can tell you the stereotypes of most of them though.

I always felt that I didn't need to go to church to be a good person. After all the Bible is a reference right? A guideline. I feel that I am a good person. I believe the intent of man is good.

I am nice to all who are nice to me in return. So I guess my bible verse would be:

Luke 6:31
Do to others as you would have them do to you.

I really don't judge anyone on their religious beliefs. In fact, I don't even base who I have as friends or who I am in a relationship with on what religion they are. As long as they don't force it upon me. We are entitled to our opinions and practices. You respect mine and I will respect yours.
