CL Postings.

Okay I thought that I would try something different. My initial thought was to post a Craigslist ad that I thought was just "Wrong". I've already realized that this may be harder than I had thought. Considering that not all Craigslist postings are that bad. Most are strange and weird. So I am not going to do that. Instead I'm just opting for talking about Craigslist M4M.

Some postings are shady, few are not even real. Also some are just a ploy to eventually send you an email of a link to promote some website.

Craigslist can be so interesting sometimes to read through. Mainly cause, it's interesting to see how people word their ads. What pictures they are posting. Craigslist tends to be the place where people will post their bold out there interest of what they truely want sexually. The same person could talk to you on gay dot com or manhunt and just come across totally different. Not so in your face and playing innocent. That whole, "I'm not a freak, I'm looking for a serious relationship."

Craigslist seems to be riddled with "bi" men. Mostly bottom "bi" men. I'm beginning to question these "bi" men from craigslist.

The craze of gay men on the hunt for bi or str8 men, has kind of forced people to portray a supposedly "Bi" man. I guess the reasoning behind looking for Bi or Str8 men, this somehow might guarantee masculinity that we are all so much on the hunt for. My response to this is "Bullshit!"

These bi men from craigslist aren't necessarily masculine. I've beginning to think that these "Bi" men are gay men pretending and responding, feeding you something you want to hear just so they can get laid. The craigslist roleplayers.

It's the internet and the same rule has always applied. Never, never assume someone is who they say they are. People can be who ever they want to be on the internet.

You're looking for a Top and you might get some Bottom on a power trip. It definitely can't be ruled out. Craigslist is full of bottoms anyway. Hey a guy is horny, can't get it one way, well fuck I'll just take it however I can get it.

You're best bet is to be as versatile as you can. You never know what it is you are going to get and pretty much going to have to work with the situation and the mood of things and how it plays out.

Craigslist is always plagued with flakes, fakes and game players. People just after your pictures for whatever reason. Something for them just to jack off to. What I like to call the "What if'ers". People all horned up over the whole situation and know full well they don't plan on following through.

The guy that sits there and jacks off thinking about this fantasy he has worked out in his mind. Oh yeah, this guy is going to come over and do this and this. Oh he sent pictures! Wow he is hot, stroke stroke. You send endless email after endless email. What do you like to do? How do you like to do it? Tease tease, stroke stroke. They get their jollies and then they never respond again.

Craigslist ads are the chance "specific situation of meeting". Guys will sometimes note down every detail to what they are looking for. It's the whole, "Oh I like it but I don't need it" kind of thing. I'm doing this to see what I can get, but if I don't get what I want it's okay. Most won't settle for second best. It's all a pot luck.

Best advice I can give is, if you are going to post a Men 4 men ad on craigslist. Pay attention to the ads for a few weeks. Look at every picture look at every ad even if it sounds like a guy or situation you don't think you would be interested in. Because 9 times out of ten if you post an ad. The people that will respond are probably people that have posted an ad themselves at some point.

If you post regularly on craigslist, save every email response you get even all the ones with photo attachments. Not everyone sends a picture, but might have sent a picture before. Search your email for the email address and see if you have received a response before from that person. Check their consistency.

Check out other cities, look at pictures on ads. This is a sure way to find out who the fake ads are. If you have seen the same guys photo in different cities. He is fake and flag that fucker.

Another thing is, so what if no one responds, so what if you aren't finding what you want from craigslist. It's not really a good place to be looking anyway. Considering where it's at and what it is, take it with a grain of salt. I wouldn't take it to seriously.

People tend to use it as a last resort anyway and feel it's a place where they might find someone different that aren't on the usual sites. Gay dot com, manhunt, facebook, myspace, etc. It's a small world though, if you were to put a face pic with all those ads on craigslist you will probably see it's the same old tired people that's always on the internet at your regular haunting grounds.
